The actual products that will be allowed is still yet to be determined. Edible products will need to be professionally packaged, and NOT attractive toward children. That can be difficult to define, but in some states we have seen bans on products such as gummy bears. The silhouette of a bear runs the risk of being mistaken for candy. Its tough to say where the line is drawn, but there is one example.
As far as your local dispensary, under the new rules, dispensary locations will need to get a state license. If they city doesn’t give their permission, the state will not issue the license. So, its up to your city to give the business permission to continue to operate.
