"Does having a card prohibit or keep citizens from enjoying NRA rights?

HelloMD does not share your information with anyone. It is held is our secure servers. However, as far as gun ownership is concerned, last year the California Appeals 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled, cited a letter from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) that says anyone "who uses or is addicted to marijuana, regardless of whether his or her state has passed legislation authorizing marijuana use for medicinal purposes … is prohibited by federal law from possessing firearms or ammunition."
So when you purchase a firearm you will be asked if you have a cannabis card. I don’t know they ask about a cannabis recommendation specifically or if you use cannabis. What you decide to put on the application is up to you and lying on it is a Federal offense. But HelloMD will not share any information with anyone.
