Turtle Bud offers two products. One is an AC/DC Tincture and the other is a CBD-Rich Recovery Salve.
The AC/DC tincture is made with a strain of cannabis that is known for its high percentage of CBD. The plants are grown organically, outdoors. The tincture contains mostly CBD and has a ratio of CBD to THC of 31:1, which is virtually "THC free" and, thereby, should have no psychoactive effects. The tincture also contains small amounts of other cannabinoids such as CBC and CBG as well as the terpenes beta myrcene and linalool.
CBD-rich tincture is good for anxiety, chronic pain, PTSD, bone healing, and can provide energy, clarity and focus. It is also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Its neuroprotective properties make it potentially useful in diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MS, epilepsy, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders.
Each one-ounce bottle of tincture contains a minimum of 500 mg of CBD. The 173-proof biodynamic grape alcohol is strong and can burn if placed directly under the tongue so mix the tincture with a tiny amount of water and hold it in your mouth for 15 to 30 seconds. Discuss the required dosage with your cannabis doctor. Some find relief with just a drop or two so start with the smallest dose possible.
Turtle Bud’s CBD-Rich Recovery Salve is made with a blend of AC/DC and Cannatonic, cannabis strains known for their high percentage of CBD. An herbal extraction of these CBD-rich cannabis flowers is made with extra virgin olive oil together with certified organic healing herbs of arnica, calendula, comfrey, and St. John’s Wort. These herbs are combined with beeswax, vitamin E, organic jojoba, and a blend of 5 certified organic essential oils.
To maintain the quality and potency of these exceptional ingredients, the salve is poured into Miron Violet Glass. Rigorous testing has been done with this glass as a storage vessel that has demonstrated its protective qualities. Miron Violet Glass is far superior to amber glass containers with respect to maintaining potency and maximizing shelf life. After the salve is finished, these beautiful jars can be reused to store a few of your favorite buds to keep them fresh.
Apply the salve liberally and lovingly to treat pain from arthritis and nerve damage, back and neck pain, repetitive strain injuries, sore muscles, sports injuries, golf and tennis elbow, inflammation, as well as skin conditions such as rashes, burns, psoriasis, eczema, and insect bites.
Each 30 ml (1-ounce) jar contains a minimum of 250 mg of cannabinoids with a 7:1 ratio of CBD to THC. By weight, the amount of THC in this salve is only 0.1%.
