The best way to grind cannabis, in my opinion, is to use a standard cannabis grinder. You place the bud inside the grinder and grind it and any kief should be caught in the trap below. The kief is very light and good for edibles as well. Typically, if you make a cannabutter recipe you may be instructed to use cheesecloth towards the end to catch any of the larger chunks.
