Medicinal Cannabis is great at providing nerve pain relief. Its two major cannabinoids are Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD). These two cannabinoids work the best together for pain relief at a 1:1 ratio. I would start you on 5mg, titrating upward in milligrams as needed.
