Q&A

Some pain rubs contain CBD only, others THC only, and some a combination. What is the difference?

Thc is the psycho active part of the flower. It is essentially what gives you the "high" feeling. CBD, or cannabidoids(poss wrong spelling), are essentialy the pain relieving part of the flower

CBD stands for cannabidiol and THC is short of 9-delta-tetrahydrocannabinol. Both are the two most commonly found cannabinoids in cannabis (there have been over 50+ cannabinoids identified and further research is being done on how these compounds work). Between THC & CBD, THC is thought to be more psychoactive but CBD has some psychoactivity as well (the term psychoactive, IMHO , is not very useful because items such as sugar and caffeine are by definition also psychoactive). THC and CBD are both useful for different types of pain. In my experience having a little THC and CBD is more useful than having products (like this question, a topical) of just THC or CBD because of a synergistic interaction of these two cannabinoids on the human body’s natural endocannabinoid (EC) receptor system called the "enrourage effect" You can type up "CBD", "THC", "endocannabinoid system" in the handy search bar at the top of the HelloMD website for more information. I hope this helps!
