Q&A

Seeking diabetic neuropathy pain relief but live in Virginia. Any access to safe cannabis tea medications?

"Seeking relief from diabetic neuropathy pain."

If my research is accurate then it appears that the latest law to pass within your state only allows for medicinal cannabis for epileptic patients, and further only CBD oil. This will go into effect in 2017. So although your state is technically making medicinal marijuana legal it is a very narrow, and some might say, misguided attempt at it.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to legally purchase a cannabis tea for consumption in your state. Cannabis has been anecdotally very effective in treating neuropathy. Here is an article we have on our site about diabetic neuropathy:

Clinical Study Shows Medical Marijuana is Promising For Diabetic Neuropathy

I am not a doctor and this answer represents my opinion and research i have done. I hope this helps!
