Q&A

migraine headaches. She doesn’t want anything that she would have to inhale. . Any recommendations?

"I was at a gathering last night and a friend asked if I could recommend marijuana that would help ease her migraine headaches. She doesn’t want anything that she would have to inhale. I’m thinking maybe a spray or some type of tincture. . Any recommendations?"

We have many patients who find great success using Moxie Meds CBD-rich tinctures to address migraines. If your friend has a lower tolerance or is new to cannabis and attempting to avoid psychoactive effects, I would suggest starting with 1-2 drops of our Recovery 4:1 formula. If she consumes THC to some extent or has a higher natural tolerance, 1-2 drops of Relief 1:1 may be a better option but she may feel some level of psychoactivity. Ingesting our medications under the tongue (a sublingual dose) will provide the fastest therapeutic effects and is also discreet and tastes good!
