Try a whole plant extract of cannabis in a tincture form. CBD and THC can be found in various ratios. You may want to start with an equal amount of THC and CBD, or lean more towards CBD with maybe a 15 to 1 ratio. Relief should come with in about 30 minutes. You could also find some cannabis that smells good (to you, trust your nose) and try a puff out of a bong or vaporizer. Relief should some within about 5 minutes.

If you are looking for immediate joint relief, use cannabis in a CBD:THC ratio of 1:1 found in tinctures or vaped forms. A better and more preventative approach of preventing Lyme disease flare ups; however, would be to use a tincture in MCT oil with a CBD:THC ratio of 20:1 used twice daily. It will take 2-3 weeks for full efficacy, the amount of time needed to begin to reap the whole benefit, as it takes time to decrease inflammation. Keep taking this ratio every day, as the more weeks taken the better off you will feel. In addition, you can apply a high CBD cream to the area of pain, and as time passes and tolerance is built, add some THC to the cream for more pain relief.
