Hi there! This is a tough one. There’s not one answer/solution/combination of products that works for every one. Lots of people I know, and work with have found great relief using cannabis for their migraines, but unfortunately for myself, I have yet to find the right combination of products to treat my migraines.
We posted this article last week: https://www.hellomd.dev/health-wellness/5a70fd43f24d1300077ccb24/how-to-ease-migraine-pain-with-cannabis
In addition, I’d encourage you to check out this page: https://www.hellomd.dev/search?term=migraine
We have a lot of content on our website re: migraines. You should look through it, read what others have tried, and hopefully you’ll be able to find the right combination of products for yourself. If you do, please share with every one! I personally like checking out what every one else has tried for migraine relief.
I hope that helps, and good luck!

Hello! I think Melissa did a great job introducing the link to treating migraines with medical cannabis. I might offer a couple extra observations/ideas. With migraines as with all headache subtypes, I encourage the use of a vape pen but discourage smoking plant material directly (i.e. pipe, water pipe, etc.) Combustion of the plant material produces acrid products such as carbon monoxide which is a known headache inducer. Another method of cannabis delivery is cannabis tincture (onset of action is slower than the vape pen but still fairly rapid , 5-15 minutes on average). With all migraine headache sufferers, I also remind patients to have a mild exercise regimen (even on days with headache). Patients are also advised to work on mindfulness to better help the brain manage headaches (Mindful.org will be useful for this). I hope all these tips prove useful!
