Jack Herer would be a good choice during the depressive phase. However, because it is a sativa dominant hybrid, the Jack Herer strain might exacerbate the manic phase. For the manic phase, I recommend a more sedative strain, such as the Grand Daddy Purp or OG Kush cartridges also offered at Absolute Extracts.
Keep in mind: heavy cannabis use can lead to the worsening of depression.
