Q&A

Is there a strain and/or ratio of CBD to THC that is best for pain?

" And thank you for the important & helpful forum."

This usually depends on the type of pain in question. For the most part, indica strains are thought to be more effective for most types of pain. Kush strains, for example, tend to have higher concentrations of CBD and are quite effective for various types of body pains. Sativas have higher THC concentration and are great for more cerebral types of pain management. A simple way to identify whether a specific strain is CBD or THC dominant is by analyzing the shape and density of the material. Indicas will tend to be more dense while Sativas will be more wispy.

Different people seem to react differently to the ratios but for me, I have found that 20:1, 10:1, and 4:1 CBD to THC ratio to be very effective for pain relief and to reduce immflamuation.

As for strains, I like AC/DC, Harlequin, and Sour Tsunami
