There is much anecdotal information about using medicinal cannabis for movement disorders, and the dramatic youtube videos of severely affected patients with Parkinson’s disease improving after inhaling cannabis have caught many eyes. But the clinical use of CBD without any of the other cannabinoids or other components of the cannabis "entourage" to reduce essential tremor is not something that has been well studied. The few reports available do not really support it, eg https://www.mdsabstracts.org/abstract/effect-of-marijuana-on-essential-tremor-a-case-report/ or this Quora discussion https://www.quora.com/To-what-extent-is-CBD-oil-useful-in-reducing-hand-tremors . CBD is remarkably non-toxic so I suggest experimenting to see if it provides any benefit. If not, perhaps a "whole plant" preparations may be helpful.
