Q&A

I have painful endometriosis, is there an effective way to treat this with cannabis?

Tinctures are very effective for endometriosis. I’d suggest a ratio of 4:1 or 1:1 (CBD to THC). A great product was recently released for women, by women, and is getting great reviews, it’s called MoxieMeds

Another way to treat painful endometriosis has been reported to be using vaginal suppositories containing cannabis, like Foria Relief. It contains 60 mg of THC and 10 mg of CBD. It had been developed for painful menstrual cramping with reported great success. The decrease in inflammation that can result from the CBD as well as the pain relief from the THC seems to also help with endometriosis. It seems that women who use it do not feel the psychoactive effects that an oral dose of 60 mg would have.

Cannabis is a safe healing herb that can be used in many ways. Inhaled or vaporized cannabis will provide immediate relief, while edibles and tinctures will help give sustained long lasting effects. Vaginal and rectal cannabis suppositories have been very helpful for patients with pelvic pain and might also be helpful. Experiement with different methods and see what works best for you.
