Q&A

I am going for my 2nd AC chemo for breast cancer.

"The first treatment left me nauseous for 2 1/2 days and exhausted. I just received my certification and I am looking for recommendations to help me through the other treatments.
I would prefer something that will help with the nausea and give me a little boost in energy. I also am unsure of what form on canabis would work best, I am a newbee. I’d like to have some kind of idea before I see the pharmacist. Thank you! :)"

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the suffering you are enduring. But for help with boosting mood, energy and appetite as well as with reducing nausea, sativa or sativa dominant hybrid strains would likely help you most. Great strains to consider would include: Green Crack, Chocolope, Ghost Train Haze and XJ-13.

I also highly recommend that you try the vaporizer pens by Dosist. Their pens actually buzz when a single dose is delivered – making repeatable dosing much simpler when compared to other inhalation methods. Their "Bliss" formula would be best suited to the task.

Because the treatment of depression, poor appetite, nausea and lethargy is mostly dependent on THC content, I do not recommend high CBD strains or products which are CBD heavy.
I hope this helps!
