We’ve heard very good feedback about people soaking the pads in rubbing alcohol to remove debris, and then using the pads again and again. We haven’t tested this but the Firefly community seems to have luck with this method. You can google some forums to find out more information.
They may eventually start to unravel, and it will be obvious when they should not be used any more.
