Q&A

How do you get a medical marijuana card in Maryland?

"Can I get it online?"

Maryland’s medical marijuana program was signed into law in 2014; but it is not yet operational. You will need to meet with a doctor in person for them to certify that you have one of these qualifying conditions:

-Cachexia, Anorexia, or Wasting Syndrome
-Chronic Pain
-Nausea
-Seizures
-Severe or persistent muscle spasms

Edible forms of cannabis and home cultivation are not permitted under Maryland’s medical cannabis laws. You will be able to purchase cannabis from state-licensed dispensaries and will be permitted to possess no more than a 30-day supply.
