Q&A

Does vaping coat the lungs with cannabis oil?

Vapes have a small heating coil that heats the oil into vapor. The heat changes the chemical make-up of the oil is and turns into something different than oil (vapor). So vaping marijuana doesn’t coat the lungs with cannabis oil. Instead tiny vapor particles carry the cannabinoids throughout your respiratory track and into the smallest part of your lungs called the alvelous, where tiny blood vessels meet to pick up the cannabinoids into the bloodstream through a process called gas exchange diffusion.
