Does the potency of edibles decline over time?

"I use eat marijuana gummies to manage my pain. Once opened, does the concentration change over time?"

Edible companies have reported that they have not found a decrease in potency in products that were kept for over a year. However, we have to treat edible products the same we would as regular non cannabis infused products. Edible brownies and cookies will be go bad just like their regular counterparts. Gummies usually have a long shelf life. The potency does not diminish over time but keep an eye on the expiration dates.
