"Can it help me regain my appetite and deal with the anxiety surrounding food and my body image?"
Treating anorexia involves many components, one of which is restoring the person to a healthy weight, and medical marijuana can help by increasing the patient’s appetite, it also helps alleviate anxiety for people with eating disorders studies show.
From what I understand, small amounts (not getting super high) work best because it takes the edge off of people suffering from eating disorders…I hope this helps!

Though anorexia has a strongly mental component that needs to be address with the girl, the medicine could very much help with anxiety associated with the condition and of course, cannabis simulates the appetite when it gives people the munchies. The munchies I’ve had in my lifetime have been so bad sometimes that I HAVE to eat haha so that intense stimulation might help. Indicas are always the best for anxiety and appetite stimulation, however it’s harder to find a high CBD indica.

First off, I am not a medical doctor and this is just my opinion….Use of marijuana (THC) stimulates the bodyโs metabolism and causes users to experience an increase in appetite. The human body requires energy in the form of ingested food to fight infection and heal cell or tissue damage. Medicinal marijuana can signal a food craving within a patientโs body, encouraging the patient to eat to provide energy to the body. It might be helpful if you also added CBD (cannabidiol) as that cannabinoid helps with anxiety and can improve your overall sense of wellbeing.
