Hi there! Unless you are a dispensary owner, you cannot legally sell cannabis or cannabis products to your friends.
HOWEVER – In California, under Proposition 64 – which allows recreational marijuana, you can legally gift or donate cannabis products to your friends or relatives. It is perfectly legal as long as there is no monetary transaction. There are laws similar to this in Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada and Washington D.C.
