Q&A

Can cannabis help with mantle cell lymphoma?

Hello, Lymphoma is the general name for cancer of the white blood cell called a lymphocyte. Lymphoma is divided in two: Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Mantle cell lymphoma is one of the subtypes of NHL.

As per the American Cancer Society, scientists reported that THC and CBD slows growth and/or cause death in certain types of cancer cells. Some studies also suggest cannabinoids may slow growth and reduce spread of some forms of cancer.

Medical Marijuana may stimulate the appetite as well as reduce the nausea and vomiting that often accompanies treatment for lymphoma.
