Q&A

Can cannabis help with Hydrocephalus?

"Symptoms of vertigo, nausea, water in the brain."

Cannabis can, theoretically, assist with some of the common symptoms associated with hydrocephalus. Because hydrocephalus is essentially a neuroanatomical plumbing problem, it is unlikely to affect the actual fluid spaces that are problematic in this disease. If a patient is experiencing persistent nausea despite surgical interventions such as EVD or shunt placement, the addition of medical marijuana under the close supervision of your neurosurgeon/neurologist is something to consider.
