Alfred Hitchcock once said the standard length of movies is two hours because that’s how long most people can go without a restroom break. While we’re not sure if that’s strictly true, he may have been onto the benefits of enjoying shorter forms of entertainment.
Watching a movie is one of the best things to do when you consume cannabis—but they’re such a commitment. If you’re also folding laundry or swiping through Instagram, paying attention to the plot of a feature-length film can be difficult.

But this is where movie trailers come in. They’re the ultimate form of passive entertainment—and efficient, too. You can watch any movie you want in under five minutes.
If you’re enjoying a relaxing indica cannabis strain such as Purple Urkle, or something more stimulating like these five marijuana strains that help fight fatigue, movie trailers can really set the mood.
Movie trailers can be anything from relaxing to surreal to just plain absurd. So, break out the popcorn and check out this list of our favorite trailers to watch after you’ve consumed some marijuana.

The man, the myth, the artist formerly known as Prince. If you’re in need of something fun and uplifting, check out this trailer for the film that put Prince on the map: “Purple Rain”.
