"Are there any edibles that I could use for this?"
Yes, you can certainly try edibles for appetite stimulation. In general, THC is the active ingredient in cannabis that stimulates appetite. If you are new to cannabis, begin with a low dose of 2.5-5 mg of THC to see how it affects you. There are some ingredients in cannabis that SUPPRESS appetite (namely, THCV), but that is not often tested or labelled. Since every strain and product is a little different, you may want to ask your dispensary staff which products their other patients have reported work best for appetite stimulation. Also, remember that cannabis products that are consumed tend to take effect slowly, over 30-60 minutes, and last for about 6-8 hours, so consuming a product vs. inhaling it for instance will have very different effects.

One of the effects typically associated with cannabis is appetite stimulation, and this appears to be directly related to the activity of THC. The medical literature offers many scientific discussions of this stimulation of appetite as an effect of THC. Interestingly, other cannabinoids, such as CBD, oppose some actions of THC, and the effects of preparations with different ratios of these two cannabinoids can produce somewhat different effects. Stimulating of appetite is more likely with medicinal cannabis that has lots of THC, although I always recommend using preparations also containing adequate CBD content to avoid overstimulation and anxiety. For patients with anorexia or nausea related to a severe illness or chemotherapy, mouth sprays and similar preparations may be the best tolerated method of taking medicinal cannabis.
