Menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea is typically resolved fairly easily by using CBD cannabis. CBD Cannabis maybe done in a vape pen for general all over pain and anxiety relief but it may also be done as a suppository you insert in the vagina the night before you expect your cramps for a good night sleep and pain relief. The CBD topical salve at 2:1 Ratio is excellent for pain relief especially if applied to the low back and above the pubic bone and this treatment will not make you high, so you can use the topical salve and even given the car and drive, you can not do that with high THC because of the psychoactive effect.
Try these techniques, I think you’ll be happy you did because cramps are a good thing to be rid of!

Women have used cannabis as a treatment for period cramp pain since at least as far back as the 19th century, when Sir. J Russel Reynolds would treat Queen Victoria’s period cramps. He duly noted, "When pure and administered carefully, cannabis is one of the most valuable medicines we possess."

Today, thousands of women have reported cannabis as an effective treatment for period cramps. There have been multiple studies regarding the efficacy of cannabis as an effective analgesic. However, studies regarding the specific use of cannabis as a treatment of period cramps is scant.

Although, data from a study performed at the University of Leicesteraimed showed that levels of the endogenous cannabinoid anandamide (AEA) fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle and that the cannabinoid rececptors CB1 and CB2 were found throughout the uterus. These findings suggest that exogenous cannabinoids such as THC and CBD may interact with the endocannabinoid system resulting in a reduction in period cramp pain.

Another study evaluated levels of endocannabinoids and the prevalence of CB1 and CB2 receptors according to cycle phase and the amount of pain reported by women with and without endometriosis. The researches found a clear relationship between variations in the endocannabinoid system between women with severe endometrial pain, mild endometrial pain and women without endometriosis. These findings again suggest a role of cannabis in modulating period cramp pain.

The following are excellent products to help reduce pain due to dysmenorrhea (period cramp pain) for most patients. Please consult with a qualified medical marijuana physician to help custom tailor an appropriate regimen for your specific needs.

I recommend the 2:1 spray . Each spray delivers 2.6mg of CBD and 1.3mg of THC. I recommend sprays because they are easier to use than are oils and tinctures. For most of my patients, I recommend one to two sprays as needed, as frequently as every hour.

I recommend the 18:1 bar. Each 1/4 piece contains 20mg CBD and 1.1mg THC. Take 1/4 of the bar as frequently as every two hours.
