Q&A

I started using CBD oil for chronic pain. Can it make pain worse for some users?

"I have tried different dosages, different brands, different times of the day as well as taking it orally vs vaping and my pain and stiffness are worse. I really want to not have to take opiates. Thank you!
"

Chronic pain is one of the most common reasons that people use cannabis. Most of the time a combination of CBD with THC has been found to be most effective. The entourage effect of both of the cannabinoids working together seems to give the best relief. The CBD alone may help with inflammation but adding some THC and slowly increasing the amount to get the desired pain relief would be the best way to go. There are different ratios of CBD:THC that are available either as a tincture or vape cartridge that can help with pain. Some are marketed and label specifically for chronic pain but you need start with a low amount and again, slowly increase since everyone reacts differently.
