If you are drug tested for cannabis most likely the cannabis you are taking will show up on a test. A lot of businesses are not testing for cannabis and you do want to consider a Dr recommendation so you have a valid Dr evaluation for your medication use and you likely will be left alone, unless you are a pilot. After all, a lot of people are using narcotics and antianxiety medications and they are on the job because they have been evaluated by a doctor and cautioned to not be high on the job. You must be concerned but not worried and you may want to postpone your use of cannabis while you are applying for a job. I do think that so many people in California use cannabis at least on a part-time schedule, they would greatly minimize their potential employee applicant pool if they eliminate all cannabis users.
