Q&A

Am I required to provide medical records in order to get a medical marijuana card?

As of the current regulations, you do not need to show medical records. However, a patient is advised to see a local physician every 12 months for a physical exam and blood tests. It is up to a "marijuana" doctor’s discretion to provide a card; eg. if the patient has NOT seen a doctor for a check-up in over 18 months, then a 3 month card may be given, and the patient needs to see his regular doctor in the meantime.
