Can using a transdermal marijuana patch on my hip and leg pain prevent needing a hip replacement?

"I need hip replacement and am too afraid..can these patches make it easier for me to walk more comfortably easing the pain?"

Hello, Pain management with medical cannabis may be a great alternative to joint replacement surgery. Losing weight, strengthening muscles, and increasing flexibility may help you avoid a replacement as well. However, I would use the patches in conjunction with oral capsules/vape/tincture of a 1:1 THC:CBD ratio. Chronic joint pain after the joint replacement surgery is about a 40% chance, and the pain is sometimes greater in intensity. Rather deal with the pain you know than the pain you don’t know. I would recommend giving medical cannabis a try to see if it provides sufficient pain relief before considering surgery,
