Q&A

How much tincture should I use to get pain relief?

"I was told to take one drop twice a day of this tincture for pain and inflammation and it would take two weeks to work. It has been two weeks and not working yet. Do you think the doctor meant one dropper instead of one drop?"

There is no one size fits all when it comes to dosing…the general rule is to start off with a low dose and slowly increase the drops until you get the desired effect. I am not a doctor but have seen many patients with pain issues and they start with one or two drops of a tincture and if no relief, then increase it by a drop until you get pain relief. I also depends on the strength of the tincture. Some tinctures are very concentrated and you only need a few drops while others are much weaker and may need a whole dropperful.
