Q&A

Can I use oil instead of tinctures in making edibles? What's the difference?

I would say it depends on what type of edibles you’re intending to make. They are both carriers for the cannabinoids, nothing more, so match whichever vehicle fits your recipe best. Most baked items use butter or oil, but I prefer to use tincture in tea, or anything without fat in it. If it’s heated beyond about 172F the alcohol will evaporate.
