Being a cross between platinum cookies (my favorite strain) and grandaddy purple (my other favorite strain), candy land should be a sleepytime strain. Strangely enough, Candyland is actually a sativa dominant hybrid. This strain is actually a bad strain for insomnia and an alright one for pain. Personally, I would use Candlyland for writing a song rather than sleeping.
If you like candyland, then I would try grandaddy purple to catch some Zs or even platinum cookies. I find platinum cookies to be a good nighttime strain. I would gravitate to these strains if I was trying to fall asleep:
Tahoe OG, Master OG, Royal Kush.
