Primary doctor does not agree with alternative treatments.

"Earlier today I asked how to purchase Sweet Releaf….thanks for the response. However, what does one do when their physician does not agree with alternative treatments, medications, etc."


You have several choices.

  1. Don’t tell them. If you are using Sweet Releaf topically there is no interaction that I can think of that would effect anything that your primary would give you that would interact with that product.

  2. Ask them why they feel that way and if they are curious about learning more. If so you can point them to HelloMD or other sites to help them educate themselves about cannabis. Since many physicians are nervous about issuing recommendation, the least they can do is be informed about cannabis. More and more of their patients are using it and it behooves them to learn more.

  3. Change doctors
