Q&A

Is there a way to come "out of your head" faster if you've vaped or consumed too much THC?

Important part is to stay relaxed and not panic. The feeling of consuming too much THC should subside within 2-3 hours. Drinking water and eating food can also help return you to a more comfortable state of mind.

In these cases a CBD strain is your best friend. CBD has been shown to reduce psychosis, which can be caused by consuming THC. When these unpleasant mental effects begin as a result of consuming too much THC, using a CBD strain will reduce your anxiety, calm your nervous system, and make those panicky/flighty feelings subside. It will also help you to fall asleep, which is usually the best course of action when too much THC is involved.

The best thing is to go to bed, turn the lights low and enjoy the ride. The problem starts when people start to panic or get agitated.

Apparently taking CBD will balance out the THC, but I am never in a mind to consume more of anything if I have had too much THC. Usually after no more than an hour or two, things will settle down for you.

Ultimately, just be aware of how much you are consuming, especially with edibles since they take longer to cause effect, and longer to go away. Most people should start with 5mg or less, and work their way up from there in 5mg increments. My regular dose is about 15 mg. Never more than 30 mg.

In addition to the CBD….Black Pepper: keep some peppercorns on hand and crunch on a few! Combining the terpenoids (such as beta caryophyllene and pinene ) in pepper with the tetrahydrocannabinol in cannabis has a synergistic chemical reaction on the cannabinoid receptors in the brain. In laymanโ€™s terms, they both bind to the same receptors in the brain and, when combined, have a therapeutic, calming effect.Lemon peel- contains the terpene called limonene, which works on anxiety and calms.
