Q&A

Is the smoke of cannabis as harmful as cigarette smoke?

The simple answer is no. Cannabis does not cause lung cancer; Cigarettes do. Having said that, any type of smoking is not recommended by medical professionals (Then again, many medical professionals don’t recommend cannabis).

This also assumes that the cannabis you are smoking does not contain mold or pesticides. Make sure your cannabis is tested and is clean. Also, vaping cannabis is a good way to avoid whatever harmful effects come from smoking it.
