Q&A

Does anyone know about whether you can get a medical cannabis card in NY, or NJ

Doing some research, it looks like NJ and NY both recently passed similar compassionate care laws for medical cannabis. However, if you look at the NORML.org websites as well as the websites for the respective Departments of Health for NJ, and NY, it looks like these laws are very restrictive (i.e. one can’t grow there own plants etc); the laws are so restrictive that a recent VICE article mentioned that the number of medical cannabis patients in NY numbers less than 100. Hope this helps!

NY is still in the Puritan stage of Marijuana and there are 2 places in Albany and Binghamton and it will cost you $250 for a visit after you have a recommendation from your doctor..It’s pathetic because NY will prob. be the last state to legalize it!!!
