Why do you use beta caryophyllene in Moxie Meds?

"What is the benefit to it?"

We’ve added beta-caryophyllene (BCP) to Moxie Meds in order to increase the efficacy of our medications. Our Relief 1:1 and Recovery 4:1 tinctures contains 3 sources of BCP – directly from the cannabis itself of course, as well as the organic basil in our flavoring and a natural, lab grade, US made beta-caryophyllene extract. Beta-caryophyllene is a sesquiterpene widely distributed in essential oils of various plants. It’s unique for being both a terpene and a “dietary cannabinoid”, a food-stuff which acts as a cannabinoid and has an affinity for the CB2 endocannabinoid receptor. Several biological activities are attributed to BCP on its own, such as antiinflammatory, antibiotic, antiproliferative, antioxidant, anticarcinogenic and local anesthetic activities. Beta-caryophyllene is also a CB2 agonist, which means it acts as a glue that binds cannabidiol (CBD) into your body’s CB2 receptor sites, making your CBD-rich tincture more effective even at lower doses.
