"My concern is if I take an anal suppository containing 60mg THC will it induce much stronger psychotropic effects?
(which I would prefer it wouldn’t –11mg orally is just right for me)"

It is not uncommon for oral/ingestible formulations of cannabis to have effects persisting from 2-8 hours. If you are experiencing undesirable side effects, I would suggest cutting your candy in half, or even quarters, and reassessing.
