Yes certain strains of cannabis can be beneficial as a replacement for benzodiazepines such as klonopin. Especially strains with a high level of CBD. I have spoken with many patients who have successfully weaned off of benzodiazepines with the help of cannabis. This is not an easy thing to do, as benzodiazepines cause dependence.
