Q&A

Cannabis to Reduce Skin Inflammation

“Can you recommend a cannabis product to reduce skin inflammation and itching from seborrheic keratosis? I get a variety of growths from hard bumps, blistery bumps, warty bumps or “corn flake” rashes. Is there something that would reduce or stop these eruptions and/or heal them?”

For skin inflammation, I would recommend as cannabis infused topical, as well as a 1:1 CBD:THC tincture or vape. Topicals containing CBD only, can be purchased without a medical marijuana card throughout the U.S. however, the medicinal CBD:THC tincture or vape must be obtained with a medical marijuana card. Cannabis infused topicals such as lotions, creams and salves, have been studied for the use of alleviating the symptoms associated with Eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, pruritis (itching) and even skin infections. Research has shown that cannabis can help inhibit the growth of tumors.
