Can CBD Alter the Effects of Estrogen Patches?

“Could CBD either make estrogen patches more or less effective?”

Estrogen patches are essentially a method for the replacement of estrogen hormone. According to a study done on the effects of CBD on estrogen receptors, “CBD failed to behave as an estrogen receptor agonist in vitro”. Meaning that CBD did not affect the estrogen receptors. Another study done on estrogen and CBD states that “direct estrogenic activity of cannabis extract could not be demonstrated in vivo.” Taking CBD with the use of estrogen patches does not prove to be contraindicated.
