CBD:THC ratios can range from 1:1 up to 22:1, perhaps your dispensary pharmacist can work with you to titrate you to your optimal dose somewhere in between. Every body is different and can react differently to various medications. Many people however, have found great pain relief with medical cannabis and encountered far less negative side effects than other pain relief drugs. I would recommend you to gradually titrate down from a high CBD to THC ratio towards the 1:1 until you find the relief you need without feeling the psychoactive effects of the THC.
